LIFE UNIVERSITY PROUDLY PRESENTS DR. JAY LAGUARDIA WITH A 2017 ANNUAL RECOGNITION AWARD AT THE FALL CELEBRATION EVEN
Marietta, Georgia, October 5, 2017 – Life University’s (LIFE) International Alumni Association is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2017 Annual Recognition Awards. Through their professional accomplishments and personal service, nine honorees were selected as representatives of professional success, social contribution and cultural change. These outstanding individuals were honored at the Lasting Purpose Recognition Lunch held during our 2017 Fall CElebration Event on Life University’s campus.
Dr. Jay LaGuardia, a 1990 Life University graduate, was honored with the Lasting Purpose: To Serve Award that recognizes an individual who humbly supports and bolsters LIFE through their service.
State Associations represent the interests of the profession by contributing to the ongoing soundness and philosophical values of Chiropractic. When Dr. LaGuardia was faced with a moral and ethical dilemma when his state association no longer represented the interest of the profession, he felt the need to confront these injustices head on and spearhead a new association. This new association has thrived under his leadership and is a representation of LIFE’s basic principles. LaGuardia also lectures and speaks across the United States and serves as the Doctor Liaison to the Wisconsin Club at LIFE.
