As many of you know we have a major crisis in the United States in regards to abuse of opioid pain relieving medications. This article points out the need for alternative therapies to manage both chronic pain and acute pain for patients. The over-prescribing by the medical establishment for the treatment of pain, has been a well-documented cause of the current opioid abuse epidemic resulting in many deaths from overdose.
