Intern-doctor Chris Gubbels grew up in a small town in northeastern Nebraska. He graduated from high school in 1998. He completed undergraduate degrees in biology and exercise science at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, IA. While attending Buena Vista University, Chris participated in varsity wrestling competing in the NCAA 
wrestling national championships. Chris completed 6 years in the U.S. Army Reserve. Chris is a VFW and completed an 18 month deployment to Iraq between college and chiropractic school. Chris attended chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University. While attending chiropractic school Chris received additional chiropractic training in areas of health & wellness, pediatrics and occupational health. Chris has also received his certification in Thompson Chiropractic Technique. In his spare time Chris enjoys reading, outdoor recreational activities and exercising. Chris is honored to have dedicated his life to serving others and feels you get the most out of life by helping others get the most out of their lives.
