Frequently Asked Questions

What do I wear for a massage?

Your privacy is important. You will be covered with a clean sheet in a warm room, only uncovering the area being massaged. Most massage therapists use oils or lotions to lubricate the client's skin. Keep these things in mind as you decide to what extent you disrobe for your massage. Stay within your comfort level, and ask your massage therapist at any time if you have any questions.

How will the massage pressure feel?
A massage session is about promoting health.  You and your therapist need to maintain open communication about the pressure you are feeling.  If deep tissue treatment is received, it may be uncomfortable until your muscle reaches the point of release.  Ask at any time for more or less pressure.

Your comfort level is important and your feedback is essential.
